Simultaneously from Chicago the windy city, Dorothy Jean Tillman aka Dorothy Jeanius made us walk tall with her on graduation day, 6th May 2024. The seventeen-year-old bagged a doctorate degree from the Arizona State University.

Thus making Dr. Tillman, the youngest person in the history of the Arizona State University, to have a doctorate in Integrated Behavioral Health.

Dorothy said her grandmother stressed the importance of education and she loves education. That combination has given us this good doctor. She further said till when she entered the university at age ten, all her training took place at home.

Furthermore, it is confirmed that she is granddaughter of Alderwoman Dorothy Tillman also from Chicago. That the apple does not fall far from the tree, is so apt in this relationship.

How many of us have learned the lesson that you can do better than your predecessors from Dr. Tillman’s achievement? Or that one can leverage on their ancestors by doing even better?
