And so ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the long awaited Miss Supranational International 2023 kicks off on Monday the 26th of June, 2023. It will hold for three weeks, with the grand finale on the 14th of July; when the reigning queen, Lalela Mswane hands over to another beautiful queen.
The pageant had its debut in 2009 and crowned her first indigenous African Queen, Queen Lalela Mswane of South Africa in July 2022. The pageant went further to increase the age range for the pageant from 18- 29 years to 18- 33 years.
Africans from over ten countries are expected to attend, plus five other countries of African descent. The countries are- Botswana, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Senegal, South Africa, Mozambique, Togo, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria and Somalia. Then Haiti, The Bahamas, Jamaica, Cayman Islands and Trinidad and Tobago.
