At age twenty-six, Joy Ebelechi Ekekwe became Miss Tourism Nigeria 2023 on Sunday, the 11th of June 2023.

Joy Ebelechi was part of Miss Nigeria pageant in 2019. This is evidence that she is not new to pageantry and knows what it takes to win.

She will go on to represent her country Nigeria later in 2023, when she will join other aspiring beauties from other countries.

The previous Miss Tourism Nigeria, Tosin Adetoro, made it to second runner-up on the international stage in November 2022.
